Sonic alarm grenade.
This toy, called the Sonic Alarm is basically a toy grenade. When you pull the pin it emits a piercing tone. The website says that it has a ten or twenty second "fuse," which seems a bit long for me. I'm impatient and I don't want to sit around cooking a 'nade.
Seems like a pretty cool little toy, and with a bit of paint to cover up all the yellow bits, would probably make a useful addition to any airsoft armory. So long as everyone could agree to rules surrounding its use. |

Cool,,, I dont like the idea of being killed because some buzzer went off... A guy from my team made a little dismo out of a fire detecter alarm + a close pin attached to a trip wire... But we mostly used it as a alarm not a mine. The sound got quite anoying though.

Aside from the obvious issue of durability (or lack thereof) that I would associate with such a device that only cost around $20, this could prove useful in some situations where you want to flush an enemy out of some bush and don't have any other irritant to do it. A wailing, piercing noise may persuade your enemy to either A) remove the device therefore exposing themselves, or B) move away from the device therefore exposing themselves. Either way hopefully provides you a better target to shoot at.
