Outer Barrels
I know theres a crap tonne of metal outer barrels in various lengths for the M4 AEG platform, but my question is.
Are there any plastic outer barrels for the M4 AEG? preferably a 9 inch length. now before anybody gets their knickers in a knot. I'm building a gun for a friend who experiences weakness in the hands and arms so lightweight is key. Thanks for the help in advance |

see if you can find a carbon fiber outer barrel, it wont be cheap and it wont be easy to find but they do exist and will be much lighter then plastic and wont be as fragile as a baby with osteoporosis.

Thanks, I can only seem to find them for the CTW series, aside from a few carbon fiber supressors

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

There are aluminum ones that are quite light. Pair that with a thermo-mold post gripping and it should help.

Theres the TM 3pc barrels, but theyre way more shitty and not much lighter than an aluminum barrel.
So just try to find an aluminum one. |

G&G has an aluminum one that's turned down to like 12mm under the handguard area for increased battery space. It's pretty light...

The old TM 3 piece barrel wasn't that light because they used some really heavy pot metal on the end: a cheap KA aluminum barrel is lighter. I'd recommend CQB-R length which lets you lose a bit more weight. You could even use an old TM plastic receiver to cut down weight.
