Softening a Load Bearing belt
Like the title says, I'm trying to soften my Load Bearing Belt. It is surplus, and rather stiff. Is there a way to soften in? Or do I just suck it up and put padding underneath it just to deal with its rigidness..? Or is it just supposed to be that way?

Usually people put those belts inside a battle belt.

Altho i have been known to use just the belt with a drop leg and dump pouch on a high speed or I'm lazy setup. Straighten out the belt and roll it tight, then roll the other direction then the same from the other end. That will soften it a little.

Plus 1 for battle belt. I recommend the HSGI one.

You want the belt stiff so it doesn't flop around when you're at the pouches.

Thanks for the replies! It makes sense youd want firmness in the belt so it dosent bend easily, it's just hard to adjust to my size when it's stiff AF. I'll try the rolling thing. And I gotta stick to my increasingly coming together 90's us army theme
