New Vancouver area Airsoft field?

I have heard rumours that someone is building a new dedicated airsoft field in our area. Does anyone have any hard facts to substantiate the rumours? I heard the owner of Trigger is behind it, and that it will be in the Richmond area.

Haven't heard any info in this fashion, did it come from a reliable source? It seems like every once in awhile someone talks about starting a new field in the area, but yet nothing actually happens.

I'd be really interested, but after the absolute disastrous attempt last time I know city council is against anything airsoft in Richmond.

There is a new field in the works, so far it looks amazing from the pictures I've seen. I'll let those responsible announce it when they are ready as I'm not sure what their plans are. Also, I don't want to give out false or half info. Anyways, it's being worked on as we speak.

Without giving too much away:

Where in town is it going to be around? Living downtown Surrey/Mission are a bit hard to get to. Would love to know if I could look forward to something a bit easier to get to.

I think it's Surrey, but don't quote me. I'm about 90% sure.

Is that a statement or a question?

Pardon me, was on a cramped bus full of people when I composed the statement. But field should be approximately 10 mins further than Panther. Looking forward to trying the place out, although I expect lots of guys will complain about the FPS limits and the need to downgrade. I just hope the P*'s and speedballers turned airsofters don't get wind of the place...

More competition always good, and we're in need of a new CQB field post "Sigma AEG Arena's" fuck up with Richmond City Council... Might motivate others to get started on a bigger place.

Already set $$$ aside for a shotty setup

I've been told that the FPS will be turned down and that for test runs they just ran whatever, but once again don't quote me. The test games ended with a few marks and bleeders apparently, but everyone knew going in. Anyways, it seems that joule/FPS limits will be enforced, once again from what I've been told by those involved, not 100% confirmed. Anyways, I'm stoked as well.
