Importing scopes from the states
So I'd like to import a UTG/Leapers 3-9x50 Hunter scope from the States (as they seem to be the only country that has them) but I was wondering if it was even legal to do so?
Could anyone shed some light on this?

Scopes should not be a problem at all (unless they're specifically military application like gen 3+ night vision scopes then ITAR comes into effect and restricts it)

It's OK for you to import.
It may not be OK for the seller to export. The way the deck is stacked in the USA if a seller gets it wrong they're in for a bad time. That's why places like Optics Planet won't export anything; even a belt or holster because the risk is too high. So that optic has a mil-dot reticle. In theory that's a red flag. Why not order from Asia? Looks like about a third of the price too boot.

Only one I could find was at scope and laser for 55....but it is their gen 1 version... no sun shade and the gen one only has green/red illumination and there is an issue with the lighting with the gen 1's. The lenses are also not coated.
