Argo to Wargo Conversion

There's no vheicles section so I'm not sure where to put this...

This is our argo. And with a little paint and wood and steel...

it turned into a WARGO !!!

We used it for the first time this weekend at the LZ in Ottawa. It was awseome! The Wargo even included a hatch over the passenger seat and a raised seat so the passenger can shoot back.

To see all our pictures check out warmongers.ca

Needs a cow grill and a .50 cal but other then that, it's pretty bitchin.

I can just see you trying to explain that one to your wife...

"No honey, the minivan is parked in the driveway, the garage is for the Wargo"

Curiously enough, if you take the sine of 666°, you get 0.80901699, which is one half of negative phi, or perhaps what one might call the "anti-phi" / It is opposite of balance and harmony ergo: chaos and disharmony.

Apoc is a little too crazy to ever get married. Or get engaged. Or even get a long term girlfriend even. Oh well, he claims it's a LOT cheaper that way, more money for airsoft.

Ya, the Wargo is great to haul extra gear, ammo and water around with. Still pushing to put a pintle mount on top for his M249 SAW, at least just for "looks cool" factor!

Or you could duct tape a pair of skateboards to the underside of your mini-van?

nice argo.. wargo!

thoses things are fucking nice!
We have 3 people here that have one. Raven, Vondnick and laser. All of them are real buity and beast of the field.

If it was not the price, I'd have one too. I would still need a new car and trailler to tow it to the field.
$$$$$$

Did you guys have any real world inspiration behind the design? It looks a bit like a queen mary extended m113. Also any performance issues with the extra frame and skin or is the motor taking it all in stride?

Some issues regarding the new aggressive tires and the brakes getting along well together, Apoc is still working out the bugs. Including the driver, can't carry more than 2-3 people in the back at a time, we've only used it once with lots of cool effect (like inserting guys behind haybails outside the base that the team with the Wargo is attacking) to driving right up to the towers at the LZ and attempting to insert guys there.

As far as the shape of it, what you see in the first picture is the roll cage that the Argo came with, they decided to make minor adjustments to it as far as crossbars go, then shape the plywood around it. Little too square for my liking, but hey, its not mine and it works just fine!

My wife gave me the Thumbs up to go ahead and buy one as long as I take her on a warm vaction this winter.

I am aiming for the 8wheel version as well. Looking at some sorta TANK or LAV configuration.

I want to mount ofcourse one of my air cannon and probably my .50 and maybe my 60' on it too. hehe

Glad to see other people doing similar projects.
