KJW P226 Mags compatibility

I just purchase a brand new KJW P226 KP-01-E2

I've got the one with a Co2 mags and plan to purchase another one

But I also want 2 Green Gaz mags and I heard KJW GG mags are really bad. Some tell the TM and WE mags can fit but I don't want to order expensive mags for finally can't use them.

Some ever try other brand of Mags with their KJW226 ?

WE mags work fine. I have some instock if you want some. TM mags don't fit as well.

And the WE mags is really better ?

For CO2 should I stay with KJW or in this case the We is better too ?

I use TM P226 mags exclusively. They do indeed fit and they fit well (at least in my KJW)! They are a tighter fit but have absolutely no movement whatsoever making it feel like the mag and grip are all one piece. On the flip-side, they don't free fall when doing on-the-fly tactical mag changes.

Nice thing about the TMs though is that they're almost maintenance-free. I've had mine for 2 years and so long as I keep a little bit of gas in them when stored (common GBB maintenance technique), they've never leaked.

Lastly, TM also has an extended P226 mag conversion kit available just in case you like running that CANSOFCOM-esque extended mag look!

The KJW CO2 Mags supposedly only work with the newer CO2 version. As I understand it, the internals of the KJW KP-01 E2 Dual Power are slightly different as are the newer green gas mags for this version.

So if one wanted to use the CO2 mags, they'd have to have the Dual Power version & the older standard mags will not work either.

I'm hoping someone else can chime in and confirm this one way or another?

Ah ok... so this changes things. The good thing is that you have both CO2 & Green Gas magazine options available to you. The downside is that (as far as I know) TM & WE mags will not work. They may fit but they are supposedly have different top ends and would likely just vent gas when fired in the other style of KJW.

Using EhobbyAsia as an example:

Green Gas mags for E2:

CO2 mags for E2:

Green Gas mags for older style KJW (TM compatible):
