Are bb speedloaders really worth it??

First I saw a pump gun bb loader and now the Odin bb loader. I really wonder if these super fast loader are putting these bb's quickly into your magazines gently, or are they smashing them into it for the sake of speed.

People spend so much time picking the ultimate super duper polished ultra round bb's but keeping it in the same condition is just as important before it goes out the barrel.

Even with those simple loaders I use, I get often binds pumping them into the magazine and I have to slow down. Put enough force onto the bb during reloading the magazine you can actually mark the surface with the bb pressed onto each other under force.

But seriously, you have a point, but methinks it's more of an issue with Bios where they're more porous than the harder "normal" BBs. Ultimately it's about relative hardness, but most of the parts in the loaders are made of swiss-cheese plastic. I don't think the loading action is significantly more stressful than say, the act of the nozzle loading the bb into the chamber though, especially with some nozzles being metal.

I love loading rods. If I could find somewhere that sells the nice Ares ones in bulk, I'd buy like, twelve. In different lengths.

I use only the pistol shaped bb loaders. Even with those I get binds during loading so I can easily slow down pushing the bb's into the magazine. I didn't know it was so important to load bb's in 10 seconds.

With those pump and winder systems, my only concern you are smashing the bb's into the magazine.

A good test of odin or pump loaders is to load up a magazine and eject them out for inspection to verify it does not damage bb's during their rapid reloads.

I did a review on the Elite Force SL14 if you want to check it out, didn't mark any BBs that I noticed when emptying magazines.

I have my sights on getting the Odin loader, they were at the BB Bastards booth at TAC last year... I think the design is genius.

Don't like the Eliteforce loaders. Too big and bulky. The Odin is more practical. Who sells it in Canada for a reasonable price?

I just bought an Odin loader...fuck me is it ever fast. Literally loaded 10 mags in like 2 minutes. I bought mine from the guys at Niagara Quartermaster

Edit: Also Odin Innovations released CAD files to 3D print different mag adapters at SHOT show this year...so that's a thing too.

Adapters to fit all mags will make this a hit. They also need an adapter for GBB magazines.

im looking into getting a Odin Loader. I find the Eliteforce is way to big.

You can't go wrong with the purchase of an Odin loader. There awesome. Trigger has them as well.

I did have to tighten the screw on the small handle as it almost fell off..
