I only ever carry tm pistols.. While they are perfectly fine for a while on green gas and propane, the wear and tear is significantly increased. I've been using my tm px4 for almost 2.5 years now, still runs the same as day 1 (hfc134a only). While I've heard that many users tend to get cracked or broken parts between 1.5 to 2 years(on green gas or propane), or some rattling and whatnot. Regardless of what you do, you will get wear and tear though, some methods tend to speed up the process.

Its actually reasonable to use TM pistols on propane. They can usually stand up to the extra psi. If you want to use green gas I recommend that you JB Weld the front chassis post.
