a supressor is meant to absorb some of the escaping gases from the barrel when a projectile is fired, thus lowering the report or "sound" of the gun. It doesnt stop the slide from blowing back, as this is how the gun cycles.

depending on the model of the suppressor, the report of the GBB will be slightly lessened.

Hope that helps! =)

Just because a pistol is suppressed doesn't mean the slide doesn't blow back...

I have a feeling you think the suppressor connects to the slide when it actually connects to the barrel. (outter on airsoft of course) so it doesn't move when the slide kicks back.

Hope this helps.

the supressor does not affect anything in the gun itself.

Sorry, I thought it was aparrent that the silencer attaches to the barrel *not* the slide.

I do not reccommend using green or propane (same thing) in a plastic gun. it will lower it's lifespan noticeably.

have you ever handled the PPK?

it's incredibly tiny, I think a silencer would look pretty cool on it.

(plus it's a must-buy for anyone who's ever played Goldeneye)
