Accidentally disabled full auto on G&G M14 EBR
I changed out the spring on my EBR. When I reassembled the gun and tested it the full auto was disabled and I got semi only regardless of where the selector switch was.
Before I start pulling it apart again to figure out what went together incorrectly I thought I would see if anyone has any ideas to shorten my diagnosis work. Thanks in advance for any help.

you didn't line up the selector switch assembly on the gearbox when you put it back together. It'sbeen a while but I think you should be able to line it back up without taking it completely apart.. just take the gearbox out of the stock and inspect it from there.

That is my assumption as well.
I just wanted to poll the group before I started to look randomly.

I was hoping that I could just ensure the selector is set to semi and separate the gearbox/barrel assembly and then slide it back into place. My assumption is that the selector plate was set to semi and the switch was set on auto when I reassembled the rifle in the first place.

OK that was a pain in the ass but I've fixed it. Way more dis-assembly than I had hoped but we are back in business. The piece that rotates around and depresses the selector arm was in the wrong position when I put the gun back together.
Aligning it properly on full auto rectified the situation. I guess I should have gone to the website first and actually looked at the reinstall video found here. http://guay2.com/web/support.php?lang=en The very first thing they show would have alleviated this entire issue. Dooh
