Well youve prety much covered most of the price range. So closer to the 300 mark (or even less) you can get into the echo1 g&g or g&p guns. Most will be in the 200-400 range. Full metal okay internals to start and compatible with most aftermarket upgrades. On the higher end of your range VFC would what you should look at.
i am assuming you are looking for an AR (m4/m16) type platform. If an AK is your cup of tea then LCT is likely your best bet (gonna be the 4-600 range mostly) we can likely suggest a smaller range if you can answer what type of gun you like (mainly what you like the look and feel of) and your goals (aside from mostly CQB) do you want work horse, a work of art or something in the middle. Most of the guns will perform about the same out of the box, the 200-600 range prety much covers all the AEG's on the market in canada, from china clone stuff right up to high end (with a few way over that range)

That gun with a 7.4v lipo will be snappy(quick trigger response), an 11.1v will be really snappy but you should add a mosfet and some tuning at a minimum if you go 11.1v
also consider the fps, it may he too high for the cqb fields you plan to play at so you may have to downgrade it before you use it. As far as the options they offer, just go a grab a good battery and charger from a hobby shop no need to buy over priced "airsoft" batteries, there are decent batteries for cheap on places like hobbyking or at your local hobby shop and a cpl of local parts retailers. A balance charger is thy type of charger you will need with a lipo battery.

Battery has no effect on fps, just trigger response and rate of fire.
you will want to go lipo, but avoid 11.1 unless you want to add a mosfet and such right away.

Best idea is to get age verified and get something possibly better and probably cheaper from our community.
