Want a G18c Glock - TM or WE?
While it sounds like an obvious response with TM being the clear choice i can't stop thinking about the immediate need for metal slide/barrel/springs etc upgrades on the TM to run it vigorously in games with at least Propane (i don't do that weak ass gas sh*t)
The WE although of lesser quality gets me game ready out of the box with cash to spare on upgrade/replacement parts. I love upgrading the hell out of my stuff so either will enjoy enhancements once i own it. I'm pretty much already set on TM as I've always wanted to just own one but feel like I'm not making the right decision!! TMs.....overpriced plastic guns or really worth the investment? |

Get a TM. Best quality and most upgrades available.

Get a WE/HK3P
Read thread here for more info http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...=172563&page=2 Read the thread over again didn't realize it was limited in information. I highly recommend not getting a TM. I have like 7 Glocks down from 10. I'm still on my first HK3/WE Glock and the rest are just wall hangers. Trust me if your considering a WE it is a solid pistol.. no need for unecessary upgrades... just some minor mods. TM to get working or as durable as a WE its going to cost you double maybe even more. If you want it to be dureable, just get a Glock 17 dispite of brands...
If you plan to "upgrading the hell out of" it, don't bother with WE. The point of upgrading is getting better performance, not feeling better.

You can upgrade the hell out of a WE G17 as well. Not sure why it has to be a TM that can only be upgraded.
All TM after market parts have all fit on my HK3/WE G17 perfectly fine. It is the G18C that limits you to a few upper parts... and even then that gun you can kit that gun out too. As for performance a HK3/WE performance perfectly fine out of the box. My personal experience the WE G18C performance better in terms of felt recoil feedback, cycling and gas consumption due to the bigger piston. Not sure why people have this perception that non stock parts are better than stocked parts. The more you start mismatching parts and putting in different parts from different brands the more you risk causing more problems and hinder performance. Just leave it be. Only upgrades I've ever had to make for "performance" is the hop up rubber swap that is it. Cost me 15$ for a maple leaf rubber. Of course I swapped out the barrel for a tight-bore and noticed very little performance over the stock barrel. New barrel is like 40$ upgrade. I couldn't tell the difference at all. Do the math and its a no brainer that HK3/WE is the better option. One more thing to add: G18C is pretty much just as reliable as a G17. I've said this before and I'll say it again my Primary Side Arm first HK3/WE Glock 18C has been running for over 4 seasons now without any major issues. Anyone who has worked on both the G18C and G17 will tell you there isn't much more moving parts in the G18C so nothing to really worry about there in terms of malfunctions. As a matter of fact the G18C does not suffer the same trigger bar problem as the G17. I've never had this issue ever with my G17 but have read others mention it before. Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Is it for an indoor primary or an outdoor sidearm?
If It's for indoors go TM, run it on duster and do noting to it besides maybe an inner barrel and some sights. If it's for outdoor go we or hk3p (or whatever the he'll they are called) run the we on propane or the hk on propane or co2. Put an inner and a bit of hop up work (maple leaf wheel and nub thing and a rubber) and away you go. Avoid auto glock unless you don't mind the potential for failure (more parts to break, little weaker in the bbu area do to the fire selector and such) Either option you can start putting nice slides and upgraded recoil and hammer springs and such but you don't really .need those until something becomes a problem.

Get a Cyma/TM G18C AEP.
Quiet, reliable, fast shooting and good accuracy. Actually fantastic accuracy. I have fired TM and WE glocks (G19 and G17) and although gas is fun, electric is just fantastic. Best pistol I have ever owned is my Cyma G18C. |
