SW40F CO2 Leaking Gas

Hi,

This is actually a post for my friend because he doesn't like forums and writing all that. But I do want to help him fix it. I recently went to a shot show and a supplier just gave me a box of airsoft stuff. And in there is 2 Clear Cybergun SW40F pistols, 3 Extended CO2 mags and a bunch of other shit. Sorry if this is long, but I don't know how to make it short.

Anyway, the problem of this gun is kinda unique, so it's not gonna be in the solutions list. He has a KWC SW40F, and it's having problems. The 2 SW40F I got are flawless cycling and all 3 mags are no leak.

It's not the mag that is leaking as far as we are concerned, because of how if I reload the KWC one with the new extended mag, it still leaks (just a puff and bb jam). And the Cybergun pistols can shoot both the new mags and the old mags that came with the KWC.

SOooo, we figured it's the gun itself. This is where the weird part came in. After a ton of cleaning and trys, we swapped the KWC slide to the Cyber gun's lower frame, NOW IT SHOOTS without jam. And then swapped KWC Lower on a Cyber gun's slide. Guess what, now it shoots too! So by swapping the lower and slide both guns are working.

It's all good right? Well, the cyber gun is clear, so we have to spray paint it. But I would like to get them to use their original parts rather than just swapping bodies lol..because they now both work, I don't know where to inspect, because lining all 3 pistols up and checking looks like the internal is identical...

Thanks for any input.

Mag hight/ worn mag catch? Try holding the mag up into the grip a little and see if it shoots like that. If so its likely a worn mag catch

Thanks for the advise. I will try it when I go and buy another co2...
I personally own a KJW M9 green gas..so I don't have any co2.

still weird that they work if we switched the slide and frame..

Yeah I didnt fully count that in my calculations. But yes if slide A and frame A work together but slide B on frame B is having the issue but swapping slide A onto frame B and it magically works then its prolly not the catch, if slide B works on frame A......well then there is no reason for it to fail the other way around Unless somehow the parts are just somehow mixed, IE slide B is on frame A to start with and thats the issue. And if B slide on A frame isnt working then its something in the slide, nozel or related airseal parts or hop up. Unless its just 1 mag that is giving same results across all combos of A and B slides and frames then youve got a mag issue, likely the seal u see at the top (behind the feed lips)
but bottom line if they work swapped then sounds like a trade is in order lol

Yeah, its really weird, sum it up
AF (A Frame) & AS (A Slide Plastic) - works
BF & BS (B Slide metal) - doesn't work
BUT
AF & BS - Works
BF & AS - Works

It's not even the mags either...all mags do the same thing...
This boggles my mind to no end!
Because they are different guns, and the paint job now look like two tone black LOL , because AF&AS is rough lighter Black and BF&BS is smooth dark black.

I want to sell the pistols so that's why I want it to match it's original part...well..at least I want to sell the one belong to me..But I can't refuse a friend to use my lower frame when all a sudden swapping works for both guns.
