G&g gc4 g26
Last month I bought the GC4 G26 by G&G (my 1st gun)- it is the 30th anniversary edition with the metal reciever. I have spoken to a few people who work at different shops local to me, and I keep getting "so it's a top tech....". I was under the impression that it has the guts of a CM, but a few people have told me that apparently the 30th anniversary guns have top tech internals. I can not find anything on the internet that supports such a claim. I was hoping that someone on here would have an idea one way or the other.
Thanks in advance |

I bought the same model from my local airsoft store. They told me similar information. I was told that the 30th anniversary had better internals. Not toptech but almost. I was also told that it has a tightbore inner barrel, which looks right. I love the gun it shoots like a dream.

Its not a Combat Machine, but its also not a Top Tech
It, is in its own teir, G&G built it for the 30th anniversary and as such the internals have been upgraded to a different level. The 30th anniversary models do not come with lights lasers built in and if I remember correctly also do not have blow back to increase longevity and durability of the internals. |

The CM (Combat Machine) are their low end, their GC is intermediate, and TR (Toptech) is high end.

O.K.... time for an update on my blaster.
About a month ago I was buying some kit, when I came across a MK18 rail for half price. Being a rookie at all this, I took it home and tried to install it- only to realize that the g26 has a proprietary outer barrel. So in short order I also grabbed a suitable outer barrel as well as a tight bore inner barrel. I also got some new furniture... because-zero dark thirty- that's why. Anyway, so I took it out and gamed it 4 or 5 times, and it was running really nice- however... I keep hearing everybody going on about pro wins, and r hops and flat hops, so naturally I want one. Which leads me to the present status of the gun.... it has a flat hopped pro win, plugged into a 6.01 tightbore (509), and shooting about 190 fps with .20's.... FML. Up until today I was just going to throw the stock hop up back in, so I can get back out to some games next weekend- but I just found out that due to some unforseen family issues, I will not be able to get out to any games for probably about a month. While unfortunate, this will give me ample time to upgrade all the rest of the internals. |
