Surefire M720V RAID replica
I know it's a glorified, steroid induced M3X in a nutshell, but I came across this piece of sexy recently in some gun porn photos. Was searching to see if anyone makes replicas of these things as $800 for a brand new real steel version is ludicrous.

FMA made them - last July, sold out really fast. Nothing has surfaced since.
I just looked through my sources yesterday. |

Big necro here. I'm not sure if it's a re-release or what but these are in stock at shooter cb gear. $80 US.
I just ordered one off eBay for a little less. Hope it works as good as it looks. |

I bought that one. Didn't like that it didn't have Surefire trades. Throw-lever mount is nice, but that's really it.
Sold it to Zack, who noticed the pressure switch plug was very loose, then applied some grease to it - then shorted it out, rendering it useless. He may be able to comment further on reproduction steps.

Good to know, thanks for that.
I'm a little non-plussed about the lack of trades, but for that "look" I haven't found anything better that isn't real steel. |

EBairsoft's site showing this in stock supposedly:
http://www.ebairsoft.com/upgraded-ve...ts-p-8213.html I've always found the shape somewhat strange. Was the angled design intended to provide some sort of a grip or does it serve some other function?

Allows changing of batteries without removing the unit from the host weapon.

I have the FMA one and have had the chance to handle the one from Haung.
Haungs is better. Has trades and looks a tad nicer. not sure if its a design flaw or a defect on mine(FMA) but the pressure pad does not allow for momentary use, its just another button which you have to press on and off |

If it's threaded, I believe you'd need the older Element version pressure switch which are now harder to find. Just a thought.

Snaps in. Might have to find somebody with a night evolution one. Thing is the m720 has a dual pressure switch, one for momentary one for constant.
