TM vsr hop up barrel
I purchased a TM vsr precision barrel and hop up unit from Redwolf.
I opened it up to change the bucking and found an AEG barrel. Is this normal? It was my understanding that the vsr has a differently cut barrel. |

It does, but there are some hop chambers that convert the VSR to aeg barrels to take full advantage of Rhop, IF your guntech isn't comfortable doing an Rhop on a VSR cut barrel.

I am aware of the chambers that allow you to use AEG cut barrels. But this hop up unit is a Tokyo Marui precision chamber.

It is a VSR cut barrel, but it's the type with a hop-up window. It is not a completely open window like GBB pistol barrels. Both will work in a VSR, TM typically ships barrels with this type of window for the VSR10. The "cut" itself refers to the vertical slits that allow the barrel to be retained in the hop-up chamber, and not to the size of the hop-up window.
