Pair it with a Tanaka Luger & a Top MP40, then you've got yourself quite the WW2 kit.

Hmmm. No, I wont do that. I just bought a new gun.

Is it my eye or what? Those uniform does indeed resemble a lot like the WW2 german uniform....all you need is some swastika armband, a Luger and perhaps some stick granade....and you have yourself a WW2 uniform....

Erik_james, BC_K, guess where Russians got the idea of shooting their own ? Don't remember where I saw that but those death squads were first used by Germans.

Nice find, I bet couple of people I know will be interested in items from there.

I remove all patches off any uniform I buy, but I'd dress in full German WW2 uniform if I was reenactor. I don't see anything wrong with wearing any uniform with full insignia for only reenacting purposes. Reenacting has nothing to do with political movements/ideas.

Those are old East German uniforms. Supposed to be very similar in cut and colour to the German WWII uniforms. Trident also sells repro German WWII insignia somewhere on their website, so you can snip off all the East German NVA insignia and replace it with the appropriate Wehrmacht insignia. They've got a bunch of other repro German WWII uniforms, mainly SS camoflage smocks and such. Been awhile since I looked at their website but they used to have package deals on reproduction WWII Soviet uniforms somewhere.

Erik_james, yea, you are right, a lot of people out there don't understand reenacting idea. They see something and the assume the worst right away.
German WW2 kit would be cool, espesially now, when we have MP40 AEG around. I like German paratrooper uniform. The one germans were in this old movie called The Eagle Has Landed.

Only seen the swastika worn by 1st SS soldiers when they were on honor guard/bodyguards duties. And Nazi Party members. You woulden't see that sort of thing on officers in the Waffen-SS or Army, etc.

I was the one to post this link before. It's in the WWII section.

NO germans never shot their own men.

It was blood thursty Stalin that shot his own men, locked them into freight cars, and didn't issue rifles to every soldier.

He also encourgaged rape and ransacking. Oh but wait their the good guys I geuss.

Anyway I shouldn't talk politics here.

I was under the impression that Poles, and other forign nationals drafted into service by the germans were held, (such as the case at D-day) at gunpoint by German non-coms to ensure they kept ranks and stood fast?
