this is just a consept, I don't know if it will really work, my first question of many questions to come, do Co2 pistols have some type of built in regulator, i tookapart an old HK 45 non GBB mag and found a peace with multiple little rods in it (was in the co2 12 gram puncturing peace) it screwed out. so if there is no presure regulator then there is your tap.

You'll tap the gun itself (through the 12gram punctureer that screws out) the magazen well will be untouched. You could possibly add a bb feed line and an auto winging mag to have "unlimited ammo"

Interesting thought experiment. I'm having trouble figuring out why.

You definitely could do this, and I imagine with very limited work involved. There are many people out there that run HPA tapped magazines in their GBBRs, However, as interesting it may be, doing this really takes away the from the compactness of a pistol. It would definitely be fun shooting around the backyard and stuff but I doubt any scenario games would allow you to use it.
Here's a video of someone that actually did exactly what you mentioned. It'd be worth watching if you're set on doing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSDdo_v0NvU |

To keep it compact I could replace the 12 gram co2 capsule with a home built refillable capsule so I'll just disconnect my ar 15 and charge the capsule with the 20 oz tank.

Are you sure its a good idea to do that? Its a 12 gram co2 capsule that is made as a one time use. This is with a 20oz CO2 tank right? Anyways, I started a thread using an HPA line for WA based M4 GBBRs. I plan to use a Lonex mag in conjunction with the HPA line, and magazine.

i would create a capsule of my own with threads at the top so it will become part of the gun and add a QD disconnect to the bottom so you can take line off.

I sort of did what you are talking about with my old G&G K98. It took 8G Co2 instead of the common 12G.
Drilled and tapped a hole into the Co2 bulb, made an opening in the mag to fit the nipple in.. hooked it up to a giant can of Co2 and voila. Ended up having to JB weld the fill nipple onto the mag/CO2 bulb, as the pressure was just too much, it would blow out from the pressure. If the fill nipple had the little bar inside of it, in theory it would prevent air from coming out. Like on the HPA tanks. Like this: ![]() Here's what I did with mine: ![]() ![]()
