vertical nub hop help

hey guys, i have an ares mk43 (m60e4) and im looking to upgrade the hopup. my problem with it is that it has a vertical nub (straight up and down). i would have done a bridge hop mod in it, if it had a regular horizontally positioned nub. but since it does not, i am looking for some help with a mod. from what i can see so far the only option for me would be to get something along the lines of the A+ hop rubber ( http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-p...l#.VNv24PnF-uA ) to get any type of bridge effect in the hop unit. if i had access to a decent amount of tools, i would modify the stock hop unit to be able to put a bridge nub in it, but all i have access to are a standard set of assorted small screwdriver bits, a dremel with a limited amount of bits, and different grits of sandpaper. any advice or mods that could help me out would be greatly appreciated. thanks again in advance.

Well... I used a piece of eraser and carved a few custom nubs with a razor. Seem to work ok so far.

Disclaimer: I have no fucking idea on the science of hop up nubs.

But hey, if its a hard to find part for a not working gun, at least afterwards you will have a gun that works better then it did. Even if its a temporary solution.

I wound up milling out the hop unit to be able to fit a bridge nub in the hop unit
