What's a good M93R Holster?

I love my M93R. It's a ton of fun to play with, and a great sidearm if you're carrying a long rifle as your primary. That said, I rarely carry it anymore because my Condor adjustable holster gives me so many problems, with any pistol really, but especially with the bulky M93R.

I'm running one of your standard Condor drop-leg holsters (this thing), and my issue is that every time I try and move around, it presses on the magazine release, and dumps my mags in to the dirt, sometimes without me noticing, resulting in lost magazines (which are not cheap for this gun). It's a real pain in the ass.

Can anyone recommend a holster that will fit this thing properly? I'm considering a shoulder holster for it, but, I don't really know what one to get, or if they'll give me the same issues.

Advice, please!

Hey! I've been running a bunch of pistols in mine, including my 93r, and I've never lost a mag with this one. I've been using it for over 2 years now.

Get a real steel SERPA holster.

Is there a SERPA for an M93R? I know there are lots for M92s/M9s, but, I didn't think they'd fit due to the grip on the front.

don't think there's a serpa for that... you're probably loooking at a custom kydex one that's built to mount to a serpa platform or any other platform of the sort.

If you can get a real steel hard shell that fits your gun (if it's a kwa) then you're golden, otherwise you'll have to go with the generic soft ones that drop mags. If you're forced to get a soft one, you have to protect the mag release somehow. They drop mags because they bounce or have material around the mag release so it will flop into it and drop the mag when you run or crouch.

If you have a kwa you can probably risk having a kydex holster custom made for it, but it'll cost you a bit since you need to send the maker your gun and they'll have to tape a bunch shit to it to make sure the holster will let go of the gun when you pull on it.

My mistake, I read it as M92. I don't think there is one for that.

No worries. It looks like Evike has a series of Kydex holsters for a ton of guns, including the M93R. http://www.evike.com/products/44470/

Kinda pricey, but, maybe that's the way to go.
