I wonder if the modify gearbox from airsoftparts would drop in with no mods required.

My experience with Modify shells is the reinforcement at the front makes it get stuck in the upper receiver from some brands. It did on the KA I worked on, not sure about VFC. I don't like the Modify gearbox though.

Might as well get the cyma gearbox/motor combo and run it until it dies and get a new one to replace it

I'm not looking for high speed or high torque anyway.700 to 900 rpm like the real steel.
