"bb bukakke" KING!
|
girth.
teeheehee. yes, the overall diameter matters. I did a test with a pistol sized one that was only about 1.5" wide and the one I use which is like 2.5 or something. can't be bothered to measure it atm. Inner barrel comes about halfway into it. I use a noname acm blank can. Works just fine as long as the foam is still in it. The only issue with using it as an actual suppressor is that it's possible to shoot the inside of the can, and the fragments or full BBs will bounce around and destroy the foam. I've had hanging foam in the can interfere with BBs leaving and causing some wicked flyers off to the sides.

Take out the crap foam discs and replace them with wait her real sound dampening discs of foam (expensive and meh result) or replace it with Copper pipe insulating foam. It is the perfect size for the standard silencer widths (sorry never mesured) slides right in with a couple twists.
I have a ASR custome build with it in and you can't hear the thing at all. |
