i just went on dx.com and got myself some flashlight lens...they are just a glass lens that usually comes in bulk of 10 per order of 5 bucks and free shipping...
I just put some electrical tape to hold them on...

Protecting scope is very important, there are lots of sites where you can get a better scope protector for your scope, i am also using one and it takes good care of my scope.

I went to the local home depot store and purchased a sheet of lexan.
I forget the thickness, I can find it if someone wants, but it is a lot thinner than the screen protectors you buy retail that crack or chip after being hit with one shot. I used automatic fire from my vfc 416 with .28 gr. There wasn't even a mark on it. So... to be safe I decided to double it up and place it on the inside of the rubber scope protector that sits on the scope. All you need is a dremel and a bit of time. I think the whole sheet was about $5.00 and you could make about 10-12 scope protectors out of it. Hope this helps |
