MB01 or MB05?

Well as the title above says, I'm wondering as to what the general opinion is here from you guys.

The MB01 and MB05 by WELL

I've been gaming for awhile and have recently decided to foray into the deep end that is the recon/sniping role. I've spoken with a few friends and they recommended that perhaps I should ask other enthusiasts on this forum. Are there any of you whom may may had experience with both of these rifles and may be willing to share your thoughts?

Before my head gets lopped off prematurely, I'd like to mention that I am aware that there are better brands and models to look at, as well as the necessity to upgrade and polish off these to optimize what I can out of them. I'm just looking into getting a novice rifle with the intention to explore whether or not I would enjoy the role of a recon/sniper. Looking for something that I wouldn't need to be a huge investment and with the idea in the back of my head that if it doesn't work out I would still have something that I would be happy to mount on the wall as decoration. Having read up on a lot of reviews as well as what needs to be done to make them decent, these two models seem to fit my needs. With that said once more I would like to ask for your thoughts on these two makes.

Just get a rifle to make a dmr, bolt action rifle takes effort to make it shoot right and the next thing you know, you are in a deep hole and out of funds
That's my two cents and if you are set on getting one, get a better rifle made by a reputable maker like Tokyo Marui

Full on bolt action after upgrades is about $800
Full on so called "DMR" after upgrades, about the same

But bolt actions can be made dead silent, and also make you a better shot

A DMR allows you to play 'mid field' if circumstances require it, or go full 'sniper' when it allows.

some field's won't allow dmrs to have any higher fps than the standard AEG... however, just tune an aeg... it'll be more fun as a beginner than starting with a money pit sniper and still be outgunned.

If you insist on either of those two, I can say they are most likely identical mechanically, the same gun but with different stocks. It makes no difference which, just choose whichever one feels best to you, neither of them will perform very well out of the box.
As someone who jumped in with a low end bolt action at first, I can say that they are an enormous handicap and usually little better than glorified crappy tire spring guns. They don't shoot significantly farther or more accurately than a starter AEG and the higher power doesn't actually buy you much range, it just hurts more.
Even if you get a good rifle and get very skilled with it, you won't be able to use it all the time. You will find that for most skirmishes it takes longer for you to set up a good firing position and line up a perfect shot than it does for the enemy to just call their hits and run back to where they were on the field.
That's not to say you can't play as a scout, far from it! Nobody says you can't play recon with an AEG, your biggest weapons will be your eyes and ears anyways. Look into camouflage (ghillie suits are helpful but not useful under all circumstances), a two way radio and headset (gathering intelligence from the front is no use if you have to run all the way back to deliver the news in person!), and perhaps binoculars with a long enough eye relief to look through with goggles on.
