Where to buy HFC134A

Ive had two TM DEs, one lasted forever on propane, and the other only broke the stock nozzle after a metal slide upgrade and enhanced recoil springs, and a guarder enhanced nozzle fixes that, but with stock plastic slide, there shouldnt be an issue

CAVEAT: Do not get the green label Blow off that is in the 10oz large bottles. Those contain Ethane,11,-Difluoro ie 152a.

So this is "the good stuff"? Who knew?

Get Super Duster 134 from MG Chemicals. Good and cheap. Tons of distributors all over the place for this stuff.

And any TM gun can take propane without issues. Certain WA guns can as well with a flow restrictor installed. Running other Japanese guns like Tanaka on propane, you may as well just smash your gun with a hammer and get it over with in one shot.

This blow off thing seems to be the good stuff (although I read the whole label and it doesn't say if it's difluo or tetrafluo)

The only thing is that the orange 8 oz labelled one says that it's extremely flammable.

Any idea?

I wouldn't put something labelled as extremely flammable in one of my mag...

*EDIT* Yep, but what I meant is if the company itself has a product called "Non-flammable Duster" that is hfc134, the flammable one is probably not hfc134, sorry for being unclear!

Unless someone can find a trustable source that says this thing is really hfc134a?

1-1 Difluoroethane is flammable because there are only two Fluorine atoms joined to one of the carbons and thus it still highly reactive with open flame and spark. Therefor if the can says flammable its HFC152a most likely.

Just to let some of your guys know. I found a place in Canada called Memory Express that sells 10oz cans of duster. Priced at 10$, they have local stores mostly on the west side of canada.

I know this forum is inactive but just adding in what I found out.

For me and TM pistols, after the basic upgrades. TM mags still work with propane, make sure you keep them lubbed and all that jazz.

Don't mean to necro but I wanted to see if anyone new an updated place where I can find proper duster gas, other than having it order, in Ontario. Needed some for some guns

Check Sayal Electronics (http://www.sayal.com/zinc/zinc_searc...&title=DUSTERS).

They have different locations around the GTA. I got mine at the Victoria Park store.
