Custom Order Plexiglass Shield Locations

Has anyone ordered custom-cut plexiglass/acrylic shields to protect your optics?

I'm looking to make replacement lenses for a optic shield I purchased a while back, but I'm not sure which place makes good quality custom-cut plexiglass for a decent price. Can anyone advise?

For reference, I would need lenses to be used on this stand.

Why not go to Home Depot grab a sheet for 5$ and make it yourself? I make plexiglass lens protectors for all my optics myself.

What tools do you use to cut it? Tablesaw? Handsaw?

I first cut the shape with an exacto knife and the use side cutters. This is cause the plexiglass likes to break in random directions, so the line from the exacto knife gives it a path. After that I take my Dremel and just sand the edges to the exact size.

Speed shields are twice as thick. You will not have any breakage issues with these shields. Bar none, you will not find a better Optice shield on the market. Worth the investment.

you do need special tools to cut polycarb.. it generally melts when you use power tools and when you go slow it makes a mess and takes forever.

It cost me like 30 bucks to have 2 small disks made to use on my scope and it's not thick enough to stop a direct shot from close up. If a product exists, I would go and buy that product to save the hassle.

But I believe lexan/polycarb will maintain its transparency when you vacuum form it, so long as you don't overcook it.

Psst... one of the best (read: least janky) ways you can cut it is with a CO2 laser.

I was thinking of using a piece of clear acrylic, but I'm not exactly sure what's the safest way of cutting it (I also need to drill holes for the screws that holds it in place). What are your thoughts?
