KWC Desert Eagle mag Valve button too short
So a while back I bought an extended mag for my desert eagle and since the beginning I could not get it to cycle, and until now I noticed the valve button thing is too short!
My question is how can I fix this? I temporarily placed some spacers on it and can confirm thats the problem. here is a picture with a comparison to a standard mag One on top is normal one on bottom is the extended one |

Totally uneducated guess here:
Is it possible that the valve is screwed in too far, or do these mags require that the vales be screwed in to the stop? Looking at my own DEP mag, I could unscrew it some, and with Teflon (plumber's tape) keep a decent seal. Could that at least be a bandaid fix for ya? |

You could try finding out what valves the standard KWC DE mags use, and order one. That *might* solve the problem - unless the extended mag's valve socket, or the valve itself, is significantly different in specs than on the standard mags.
At that point I'm not sure what you can do without some thought-out MacGyvering. Very carefully using PL glue to stack some spacers on top of the valve head might be your only sensible choice. Just my pair o' Lincolns. Hope that helps! Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk |
