Chin strap for mich 2001
Hey guys, ive already tried looking through the threads for a little problem im having. The problem im having is that I cant get the chin strap to sit properly on my chin, it either is lop sided or the straps are too tight and cover my ears. I was wondering about getting a real military chin strap and I was wondering if any of you guys had this problem at all.

Like Xav said real straps all the way. The replica straps were all misaligned and buckles were in less then ideal locations on all 3 of my repro MICH's. You can grab RS straps on Ebay for next to nothing I scored a BNIB strap and pad kit for $60 shipped last year.

What about a mich retention system h-nap? Or would it be better to just get the normal straps

H-nap is more comfortable better fitting and retention on the back of your head especially if your going to be mounting anything like a Go-Pro or such to your helmet.

I plan on mounting a pro cam and other things on my helmet, so it would be better to get a retention system right?

If you have to go with a repo helmet chin strap then go with the mich helmet strap from airsoftdepot !

Just go on Ebay and search it just make sure its from a RS company and not a knock off. I have the standard issue H-Nap strap sets, but if you find Team Wendy or such for a deal grab it you won't be disappointed.
