Thoughts on this plate carrier?
I kind of like the look of this. Any thoughts, reviews on it? http://store.specwarfare.com/en/emer...-easy-style-cb

There are better JPC copies out there.

Owned it, sold it. For a secondary loadout, I guess it's fine, I mean you're not breaking the bank and the quality is reasonable but like Danke mentioned before, there are better copies out there.
Only reason why I did end up selling it was because I used my Shellback Banshee way more. I would suggest getting the actually JPC if you can afford it. It might seem like a big investment but down the road it is all worth it. Pay for the quality, don't cheap out. |

If you absolutely want a JPC replica, I've heard Flyye, and their child company Modi make decent replicas.
I'd say get the real deal.

I've got the tmc one and have no problems with it, but I don't get out to play nearly as often as I would like

How are they for comfort? I've never used this style before.

JPCs are comfy in my opinion. I actually own that one (unless the one from depot is the TMC one?) the only gripe i have with it are the build in mag pouches are shit. But comfort wise, no complaints here.

How many mags can they hold?

Holds three and I have another three mag shingle mourned on that, pretty comfortable really. Thou I'm not used to having so much exposed on the sides.
I used to run a curse, that was a bit more conveying

Do they sit up high enough that you can crouch without them pushing up? Anyone who's ever worn a bad vest will know what I'm talking about.

Yeah once I had the vest fitted right, like anything else just have to take the time to properly set it up

It sits very high, I can wear a standard duty belt underneath. one of the best plate carriers I've worn, and much better than the CF TacVest

I bet you could fit at least 42 mags on the JPC. Using triple mag pouches and a cargo pack.

:O
Not sure if serious... I can't fit more than five on it before it starts shifting on my torso. |

The question is ambiguous.
The JPC will absolutely hold 42 mags, the question is how many do you NEED? What KIND of mags? Metal mags are going to offset the weight more than Pmags Are you using a hydration pack? 3L of water will offset any amount of mags you put in front. And like any plate carrier or vest, if you don't adjust or balance it properly it will move around. |
