APS2 Sniper Upgrades
Hello,
I have recently purchased a sniper rifle of the APS2 type, Made be C-TAC (C-TAC APS2) and I have a couple of questions. 1) If I were to upgrade my internals, (spring and such) Along with my spring, what would I have to upgrade? 2) If I were to upgrade my barrel to a tightbore, what are some good companies to go for? As well, are all barrels standard for airsoft? Or do I have to get a special "Sniper" barrel that will actually fit in my gun? Or one special for APS2 Snipers? If anyone could like me to some good internal parts and barrels that are compatible with my gun that'd be GREAT! Thanks a bunch, Nick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

C-TAC is not a good gun to start. Although it is cheap, it will end up very expensive as you will need to spend a lot on upgrade parts to have a little adventage over other's AEG. You need to look for APS-2 system/compatible parts. Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Space Impact

I don't know anyone who has a c-tac gun but I've not read anything too promising about them. What I do know about sniper rifles in particular is one upgrade always seems to lead to another, upgrade spring = broken trigger etc. You're probably pretty safe upgrading the barrel for better accuracy without causing an issue though. I really wouldn't touch too much else until it breaks and you have to.

CTAC is mostly clones as far as I know. They aren't bad guns if you get one of their AR's (Which are decent VFC clones) I had a M16A3 by them and that thing was pretty damm good for the price I paid for it. Not top notch but still damm good for the money mine was used and abused a fair bit and it never quit on me once. Traded it and I regret ever getting rid of it.
That being said I saw one of their snipers and wasn't to impressed by it. |
