VFC (UMAREX) MP5 GBBR Owners Thread

It's his vids on YouTube that have convinced me to do the conversion.

Think I'm going to go with VFC Psalm 1:44 inners for both MP5s and just shorten them to the correct lengths.

Quick question, how can you tell the difference between the different generations?

What generation is this ?

By the way, is the picture correct? It said SD3 but the picture has the navy lower.

The new generation of MP5s should be latest... Gen 3 does not have the 6MM marking anywhere on the gun.

90% off the brand new MP5's are the latest generation. The guns have been revised so that there isn't any problems out of the box. Other customization will further make the gun better.

Very nice, seems like the maple leaf hop up rubbers are quite stiff.

Yeah they are quite stiff, I've got A+ and Nineball rubbers incoming too just to see if the Maple leaf can be beaten.
I can't actually believe the difference in range from stock.

Nineball is the best

I've tried everything almost, except Maple Leaf.
A+ Studios was no good also.

Does anyone have a scope mount on their MP5 if so what make?
I'm sure I've seen somewhere that regular Airsoft scope mounts don't fit the VFC because of its RS specs, I'm reluctant to fork out for anything but the VFC one unless I'm sure it fits.

The TM, CYMA, none of the AEG ones will fit the MP5. I've tried it, its either the one from VFC or maybe an RS one?

Only the vfc one will fit on our MP5, none of them works beside it I tried

That's why WGC is always out of stock, I have seen it back in stock but then out of stock so quick
