Smile Newbie Question: Installing MAXX recoil spring for VFC/Umarex G17 Gen 4

Hey everyone. It's my first post, so go easy on me lol.

I picked up a MAXX 150% enhanced steel recoil springs as well as some ProForce 130% Nozzle Return springs.

My question is how do I install them? Where do these springs go and how do I install them. The pistol *does* have a pretty sluggish and underwhelming blowback action imho.

I'm more of a collector, so the possibility of the springs beating the tar out of the gun is definitely in my mind. The VFC G17 Gen 4 is lovely but I've heard that they're not especially durable and that the finish is easily damaged. I'm obsessive about everything being in good to perfect condition.

That said, the more I can learn the better.

Remove slide. Take the spring guide and spring out. Remove spring from guide. Put new spring on guide. You are done.

The recoil spring assembly is quite different and now has me thinking that I got the wrong part. I got it from DMZ. It should still be up. It claims that it's for Glock 17 platforms for TM, KJW and VFC, amongst others. I can't find an enhanced recoil spring assembly and hope to be age-verified to look at the listings for this and other unrelated parts for a project that I hope that I can finish (KJW 226, I'm looking at *you*).

It's definitely the wrong part. I've confirmed myself as a newbie.
