Kjw p226 cocker not holding(not firing)
Hello everyone
Everything started when I decided to mess with the hammer spring, wanted to replace it with 150% it didn?t fit so I returned the stock one.. And then I couldn?t get my gun working again, the cocker is loose and not holding When I?m pulling the trigger without a mag it also not doing the same sound anymore, and when I?m inserting a mag with gas it barely shoot something like the hammer is so weak and bb just rolls out of the barrel |

Pretty common for the actual striker piece to break. Might be that. I had some last I checked.

Tell me something
A broken valve knocker as you mentioned can affect on the slide when I’m trying to cock it? In general, the actual piece will make the gun work as before? Or there might some other piece that making trouble? |

the valve knocker is pretty much the only part of TM-based 226's that needs to have attention paid to it. sometimes it fails and remains functional, other times it flat out renders it non functional. it's rare to break any other part on the platform (but not impossible)

Yeah it makes sense because I did pretty much nothing and somehow it messed up.
You suggest me maybe take apart the whole hammer thing and re-try to assemble, or just buy a new one |

Hello again my pistol still not working..
Before I’m ordering parts the valve knocker and it spring affects straight on the hammer and the trigger? I mean if I replace this two it will fix and make everything in tension? |

Can you post a video? If you took it apart and reassembled it but it's still not working I think you should figure out what part is broken (if any) before ordering.
What do you mean by the cocker is not "holding"? Does it not lock back when pulling the trigger in double action or when the hammer is manually cocked back by hand to shoot in single action? Check for any damages with the hammer spring and strut assembly: If not assembled correctly or if the strut is too deep then the trigger will have a lot of travel and may prevent trigger from functioning at all or cocking back. |

It doesn’t lock back+I think the double action also not working because it starts to strike only when I cock it with the slide and after I pull the trigger it makes a sloppy/loose noise and that’s it also the slides stuck on the hammer, to release it I need pull the hammer
