Are all FAST helmets "one size fits all"?
Hey
Just a quick question. Buddy bought me a FAST helmet sized M/L... seems to be too narrow for my giant head. Am I wrong from my research to find them made mostly in that size? Or does any one company make it in the L/XL size?

Most airsoft cloned helmets comes in large only. If it is available in Med, that is a bonus. If you need small or XL, consider OPS

Nope... Only came with one set of pads... even though in an Email they claimed it came with both.
( http://dragonredairsoft.com/catalog/...roducts_id=210 ) before people ask. Maybe I can find different pads to replace the stocks.

I found none of the clone fast helmets fit my head, regardless of pads. Got a real BASE jump in L/XL, fits like a dream. Unfortunately don't think openly of the clones come in L/XL, not that I could find at least...
You could however try taking the side pads out entirely, you don't really need them in... |

The clone of the ballistic type (with the separate NVG mount attached) is a medium sized clone. The clone of the Base Jump type (with the molded NVG mount) is the large/extra large size. I wear a 7 5/8 and I can wear both the real Ops Core Base Jump as well as the knock off of the same helmet.
One thing that helps is that with the OCC Dial system, you can even remove the rear pad in the helmet as it stays on just fine without it, and fit really large heads. This is the base jump style (clone on top real on bottom): |

Hm, maybe that's what my issue was. The clones I tried on were always the Carbon, but the real Ops Core I got is the Base Jump.

I've tried on every variation of the clones in terms of the ops core helmets and none fit my 7 and 7/8 hat size. Ive found that the mich 2001 fits the best for bigger heads.

Fireboy, try an Ops Core Basejump clone with the rear pad removed if you get the chance. It would probably fit you. It fits mine with room to spare.
