Hk416D Conversion kit for PTW (NOT FCC)

It was my birthday on Monday and I got my 2008 Max version PTW reborns with HK416D Conversion kit from Taiwan.

The kit comes with the whole metal body, RAS(you can replace it with RS 416RAS), outer barrel which not in the picture and the gas block ... etc.

The Metal body is just as solid as you can get with very nicely done laser engraving.

And Unique Serial Number!

Base with 2008 Max version.
VFC MK16 Silencer
Magpul XTM Rail Panel
Magpul PTS AFG
VFC M4 Crane Stock
Hurricane EO-Tech 553
G&P M16 pistol grip

Overall, very soild, very nice, but HEAVY!

I love it! How well did things transfer over from your original Systema? Any fitment issues?

Have you tried any of the Magpul PTS Pmags in it? Whats the price tag on it?

Suzutomo is CNC'd with a very smooth finish this one from the close up pics from the op look like cast and they only make lowers and not kits. There will be a few more 416D Kits out in the market this year, mainly from Taiwan, 2 from China (specifically for CTW, DTW and A&K, their lowers and uppers dimension are from the CTW Specification) and 1 from the Phillipines (AVOID THIS ONE LIKE A PLAGUE)

*Edit* The easiest way to see if it is a Suzutomo is with the left side of the magwell is marked "Ashburn, VA" instead of the regular "Sterling, VA" (HK moved teh production in 2004 from Sterling to Ashburn)

whether its Suzutomo or not it still look like a nice kit.

The only problem I had was putting on the bolt release leaver. I had to make the hole a little bigger in order to install the lever pin.

I had to modify the front side of PMAGs by 2mm as below picture in order for it to fit in; however, EMAGs fit just fine. The price tag for the kit is around 800 CAD.

I never asked the maker whether the metal body was made from CNC.

Yeah, I got the kit from Taiwan as stated in the very first sentence of my post.
I do not know the guy who post on Systema-ptw forum, but it looks the same kit I have with different serial number.

The maker of the kit goes by the name of Eagle Eye. If anyone wants to talk to him you can search bear.son.50 on facebook, but most of the contents on there are in Mandarin.

I got one also!! Seems it fits perfectly with real rail system, without any modification during the assembly process!!
