Tm ak air nozzle coming forward too far

It seems that the air nozzle comes so far forward that the bb every 6 or so shots doesnt fire and shoots a blank in full or semi auto. You can hear it too, i havnt tried using a diff mag in it to see if it was that.

Looking at where the mags feed the shot i can see the air nozzle moves back and forth and sometimes it seems to come too far foreword for another bb to fit right in.

Any advice on what i should do?

Was it working before? What changed?

Your nozzle doesn't always stop on the same position after a shot, but the idea is that it is retracted far enough for the BB to be pushed upwards and chambered on the forward stroke of the nozzle.

Worked before fine with one of the multiple mags I have. I may have tried one i havnt used in a while though.

Hmm, on second though after i took apart the aeg and almost opened the mech box, it might just be a mag feed issue. Theres nothing wrong with the gun before or now, im just guessing the mag I was using didnt quite fit right in place as previously it worked flawlessly.

Im a bit of a noob to repairs, and didnt notice how far the air nozzle moves forward sometimes. After a few google and airsoftcanada searches it seems Ill try to add some tape to the front end of this mag after i check my other mag i used to use in the tm.

in the process checked hopup rubber, bit permanent indent and small cracking where it the hopup nub fits into the rubber of the TM AK, changed with new G&P part, seems to feed fine now in semi, before almost every second shot was two bbs. In auto though ever 10 or so shots there is a blank fire, I am suspecting the tappet plate delay is not enough in the setup. For now its fine.

if there was delay in the tappet plate, it would more likely be causing problems every shot
what brand of ammo are you using?
brand of gun
brand of mags

Try the hicaps with another gun? I know hicaps can cause feeding/skipping issues.

Gun is tm ak 47

Brand of ammo is goldenball and g&g bio degradable .25

Still happens in auto sometimes but not in semi. Two high caps seem to have the same effect. Didnt try my mid cap as im trying to fix two other guns slightly bigger issues. I can deal with it for now.
