New player, new gun
Hello everyone,
I just started getting into airsofting and recently purchased my first gun. I work at a store that brings in a lot of surplus stuff from the states and I managed to get a Cybergun Galil for what I assume is a decent price (around $125). First question I have is regarding the FPS. On the box it says it shoots around 467 with .12g bb's. I've researched thoroughly enough to know that I want to be shooting with at least .2g. As it stands now the only fields I have nearby are indoor so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on downgrading the spring or lessening the FPS in another fashion. Also if anyone knows of any good fields in the GTA or Sudbury reigon let me know! |

Indoor limits in most places are 350 fps.
You should be able to lower the fps by swapping springs. I am not technical/mechanical person so I take my guns to a store and for around $15-$20 they swap springs. I don't know any outdoor fields in or close to Toronto, but for indoor you can always hit up Ultimate Airsoft.
