3 months into the sport..

And i just cant get enough. I purchased my first gun which was a sniper rifle a well l96 as well as a cheap pistol sidearm as i didnt know how much i would enjoy the sport i didnt want to spend a ton of money on an entry level gun. After playing for a few weeks i went out and purchased a VFC mk12 and am absolutely in love with the performance of that gun.

I am a bit curious though, since i dont exactly understand the internals yet i remember someone mentioned to me a piece that should be replaced on the internals and i cant remember what he said. I believe the part was roughly $30 if that helps at all.

If anyone has any tips on things a newcomer should be looking out for in terms of gun maintenance or specific group of players i should be moving towards it would be really appreciated thanks.

Most likely the hop up rubber. That is one of the most critical lil bits when it comes to range accuracy and consistancy. Search around here we have given the reccomendation on good hop rubbers many times.

Welcome to ASC

If it's working...don't fix it.

If you feel that you must change something...pin down that that thing is. Could be the FPS to be under indoor/outdoor limits...could be tightening up accuracy...etc... Then research what will improve that one thing...make a change that affects that one thing and then test/try it out.

As of right now i have only played one game and had fantastic all round results with the gun so far. Ive really liked what i have seen from the ASC community as well and im very happy to start being a part of this and getting to games in the near future!
