Desert Locust Fan: Where to buy?

I'm looking to purchase the Desert Locus Fan Goggle Essential Kit.

Is there a location that has this within Canada? Or do I need to purchase this from their website?

Also, I did review some topics already in the forums about changing the lense to the thermal one, however I would like to re-open the question for the New Year.

Should I buy the replacement thermal lens?

If you are a heavy sweater like me then yeah the thermal lens is a godsend

So far havent had the need to move to any fan system yet.

I have used the JT thermal paintball goggles with no issues. Only twice in all my games did I fog up. However in other topics people are saying you need the fan in the Desert Locust.

If I've never had fogging issues should I get the fan? Is it worth the extra $40? Or just get the normal with thermal? Or get both? Users of these goggles please assist!

I found them being sold here by Tier One: http://www.tieronetactical.com/categ...Eye-Protection. I think this would be the best option to buy from.

cant you just rip off the insulating foam around the outside of the goggles? thatll allow airflow into the goggles and prevent fogging

That would negate the use of the goggles at some fields (such as Flag Raiders)

Really?? Don't do this you your goggles. It's not safe and it would make it worse..

Jt is amazing but big and you can get a fans for it

FANZ kits are great but don't fit some Airsoft goggles

revisions are readily available at alot of retailers and they are worth the money

Don't bother with the fan kit, definitely get the thermal lens for the Locust. Desert Locust with thermal lens is the no-fogginest setup I've found. The fan system is expensive and mine failed on me within a few games.

And removing the foam will not make fogging worse, it helps, just not as much as the thermal lens. I won't comment on whether or not removing that thin bit of foam is "unsafe", but I will say that if you manage to get a bb through the thin slits at the top and bottom of the goggles, you should probably buy lottery tickets, because you're prone to events with odds in the millions.

Also too with those events in the Mullins you can put the chances up to the billions by covering the now open areas with your mesh lower and then the upper with a helmet, this will essentially suffocate any possibility of a bb entry while allowing airflow.

Some people have sweaty faces , breath heavier, have fogging issues and some don't- for someone to say you don't need a fan because they don't is... well draw your own conclusion. I have a thermal lens and a fan, some times i don't need the fan sometimes i do. Depending on exertion level ,ambient moisture, etc. Better to have it and not need it then...
