So I'm getting a KJ works M1911 CO2 pistol, but i hate the ugly cap at the end of the mag, i was wondering if there are any other CO2 mags i could use for this pistol that look better? thanks in advance.

The pistol comes with the red blow back unit so you can run CO2 or GG, which gives you a wider variety of mags to choose from. If you run propane or green gas you can use either KJ gas mags or TM. If you stick to CO2 you have to live with the large base plates of the CO2 mags.

Red neck hit the nail on the head. Just use the Green Gas mags. From what I understand it will also drop your FPS down to CQB levels, witch is what most people buy pistols for anyway.

I have a KJW 1911 that i just bought. Im pretty new in the gbb world but a quick learner. the mag it came with broke (the plastic that holds the bbs in place) and im gonna buy new mags. The question i have is, how many rounds can i get out of a single co2 12oz cartrige? I found that using propane the damn gun would constantly freeze up too quickly and i would be lucky to get more than 6-7 shots. i have a friend that has a co2 gun(non-bb) and he thinks about 10 full mags(15 each).

If you broke the feed lip, all you have to do is buy a new feed lip for a couple dollars.

As for the gas, if you're shooting it in the cold no it won't last very long, possibly not even half a mag of BB's. Your friend's CO2 gun shoots a bunch of mags of precisely because it isn't blowback. Takes a lot less gas to run a NBB.

I managed to do the exact same thing, it sucks doesn't it?

But believe me when you get your new magazines you'll be more careful after that!
