If there's no unique marking (ie Serial number) or being unusally rare say good bye to it.

My sympathies to the OP - having anything stolen from you by a thief just plain sucks.

In the GTA area, Condo thefts are epidemic - the parking garage is nothing more than an indoor market of sorts for the light-fingered. There has been a serious problem with motorcycle theft rings for the past number of years who can be in and out of a parking garage in about 2 minutes flat with a motorcycle thrown into the back of a (stolen) van with bogus plates. When there are arrests made, it seems to be purely by chance .. otherwise they have operated pretty much with a free hand, with minimal Police investigation and intervention.

A fenced-in storage locker would present minimal challenge to all but the most casual, opportunity-knocks type thief.

I keep all my airsoft guns inside a locked (real steel) gun cabinet inside my condo storage unit. The gun cabinet is chained to a nearby pole.

For anyone out there whose storage lockers are easily accessible like the OP, I humbly recommend you investigate gun lockers in the future...
Nothing will stop a determined thief 100%. But applying security in layers, and being very discreet in the transport and storage of your airsoft (always out of sight), will go a long way in condo/apartment buildings.

hrm...well if you didnt see anyone leaving with it i would possibly suspect its still there, like in the building. These storage lockers, are they just fenced and you can see through them?

I'd be wanting to peak into those other storage lockers and see whats up. If you can get over the top of them with a ladder I might suspect that the person that stole your shit also has a storage locker and might have a ladder in it. would make for a pretty easy scoop and stow.

I'm maybe a maniac but, I always keep my aeg's and pistol inside a locked out armored cabinet (like the canadian tire's for firearms).

I also deep engraved my nickname on many parts of my aegs and pistol (also painted my nick on my gear) and keep every pictures of em on a private web server. (we should all do the same for everything at home for insurance proof like TVs, PCs, consoles...)

You did great of showing the pics and let know everybody of the robbery. good luck.

What I've done to mine, and I've heard it has worked to recover other items in the past, scratch/ inscribe your drivers lisence number in a descrete location on your gear/rifles. Ive got it scratched in to at least 3 places on each of my rifles and pistols. But I hope your rifles get returned to you in the same condition man. Fingers crossed!

could be a double edged sword... if they steal it and know your name... suddenly they have your DL number.
