Replacement Antenna united star Mbitr

does anyone have experierence with using the bladewhip or TVAS replacement antenna's for the United star prc-148 Mbitr?

I have been reading up on them and I am wondering if they are even worth getting other than the realaizm factor. most of these antenna are fakes which only use a small portion of the actual antenna or they are real ones that are tuned for 30-80 Mhz for long range comms (person to satellite, aircraft, ect). these real antenna work well in there tuned range increasing sensitivity and the quality of the transmited wave, but the FRS and GMRS range is 460 - 470 MHz so in airsoft would one of the larger antenna significantly improve radio performance? does anyone have experience using the antenna's, who could clarify this for me?

basicly I want to know on a purely functional level is it worth it to use a replacement/upgraded antenna? would it improve the quality of the transmission? would it improve how clearly a message can be recieved? or the range that the radio can be effectively used in airsoft? will it make it better at transmitting/recieveing in an enclosed space (transmit throught obstructions)?
