glock 17..mystery
I have an OMEGA glock 17,that will fire a few shots and then the slide will stay back..i won,t take it apart to find out what the heck..so i need a doc to see it.Also the slidew has a little more movement then i think is normal..if any techs are reading Pm me to let me send it to you..would like to use it soon. I live in Brampton and will drive over to drop it off..thanx

Define "stays back", do you mean locks all the way back or doesn't go all the way forward?

I haven't dealt with one of these in a while.
How does it "stay back" as someone asked already. Also, it could just be some friction issues. Take her down and see what is causing it to stop. Often times, something is getting caught on the slide assembly from the lower frame. Did you lube her in all the right places? heh. EDIT: IIRC that gun has a 'mounted' outer barrel. Only the slide moves. I can't remember now... but it was a complicated do-hicky. So the problem may lie in the rear of the slide.

I suggest you buy the new glock 17 is better
