Not sure if many people have heard about this league but wow the rules, class systems and the repawn boxs are a really cool idea even the games that they have are neat. they are based out of the states but I think it would be a cool idea to take some of there ideas and use them up here mainly the class systems. let me know what you guys think heres a link to their website if you dont know what I'm talking about http://www.acairsoft.com/aca-class-system/

In Canadian, the translation is Milsim.

The rule sets are strict and great for "speed ball" type play.

As much as the website looks nice and clean, they clearly aim at paintball players.

Their rule sets do not allow for larger games than skirmishes and small 10-man encounters.

Still, I guess there are some people that like that kind of gameplay...
But the give-away is the 15yo age rule... that is literally copy-pasted from any paintball association.

They also allow a MP5 with an electric winding mag to be a "support" and allow highcap mags without restriction to any player...

As I said, it's a nice rule set for what we call winter exercise.
I am sure there is no "take time to aim and take your shots" at any of theses events.

Team Play... Arguable competitiveness? Its TAC3 night except unlike there is TAC3 they got some stupid class system. *yawn* Personally I'd rather take a friday night off work and go get some lessons from Brian.

There are already games (usually milsims) with defined roles which are roughly analogous to those "classes" (without being as Battlefield-ish). But looking at their respawn delays its clear this is more of a skirmishing oriented thing. Their weapon setup is plain silly though.

I've retyped the wording of this a couple of times and I just can't make it sound any better than: No.

Hahaha well that didnt go ove rthe way I thought it would as I am new to airsoft thought I would get some veterians opinions. I guess seeing as I come from paintball (speedball) that why it seems kind of cool to me. if it gets airsoft more recognized though as a competitive sport I am all for it.

also cant really say that its exactly like speed ball as there are unlimited repawns just a timer depending on the classes that you choose (once you choose a class thats it for the season) and they have different types of games the wall is what intrests me the most. heres some highlights of the season. Really big problem with competitive, Airsoft would require many many more refs. You will find that Speedball is frowned upon. Airsoft is about realism. About milsim. This thread needs more Milsim.
