What brand of glock 17 is this?

Good day. I hope this is the right area for this question.

My buddy has this glock and no idea what brand it is. It has no markings other then glock.

Take a look. Any info you can provide will be great

Thanks.

The internals would tell you more than the externals.

Looks like a second generation Glock 17... definitely a springer... that should narrow it down significantly.

Isnt it a gen 1 if it only has 1 pin above the trigger?

That is an Omega Industries Glock 17, a clone of MGC. It has a metal casing inside the slide correct? For use with stronger gas?
The MGC ones always have "Model Gun Corporation" instead of the Glock trade above the thumbrest. And also MGC's serial number always has "TVK" at the end as opposed to Omega's "HB" in the beginning.

That thing is ancient. How did he get that? it'll Fetch a pretty penny should the right collector come along.

I have the MGC's Glock 17,18,19 and a "competition special" (with compensator and all competition grade parts), all are in pristine condition. The craftsmanship is first class and they are truly Collector's items.

oh wow, i actually have that same gun except its broken and i have no idea how to fix it and it was my brother's gun from when he was a teenager back in the early 90s :O, that gun is way older than from the year 2000, if im not wrong it should be between the year 1990 - 97, when my brother was still in highschool and i was still a but a child

i have always wondered about that gun XD

If it is that old I am amazed it still works so well. Its still smooth and crisp. The original owner was a cop and used it for training only.
