since it's a clone of the g&g m14, the battery compartment should be huge... I stuffed a 9.6v 4000mah large type into mine, but with the way I wired my mosfet, it won't fit anymore.

I have a cheetah triggermaster in it. It's great since I've switched to lipos I can reduce the rate of fire to something sensible of a 8.4 or 9.6v nimh, but have the trigger response of the 11.1v lipo, at the same time preserving the trigger contacts that are known to burn up on g&gs in normal usage as well as giving me programmable burst fire, active braking and lipo battery monitor/auto shutdown. A computer controller is the only way to go imo if you go with a 11.1v lipos, and the g&g has tons of room to install one.

If it were up to me, every aeg would at least have a simple mosfet to prevent arcing at the trigger contacts, for less than 10 bucks worth of parts you could save quite a bit more over the of an aeg given that the trigger contacts are a wear item, and cost more to replace 2-3 of them than a simple mosfet unit.
