Not sure if the Terminators will think you are one of them or that they will use your braces to find us...

I don't understand, why are mouth-guards suddenly OK to use again?

I remember reading multiple reports that these rubber/plastic/laminate mouth-guards don't work for airsoft. They transfer the force of the shot into your teeth and can still crack it.

I saw a post were someone posted pictures from a game, his tooth had completely cracked off and all the mouth-guard succeeded in doing was to hold the tooth bits in place.

Knowing how much dental correction stuff costs, I'd not risk using a mouth-guard with this being the case. Simply get a mesh mask, which will likely be cheaper as well. It will let you talk coherently and it won't fog up and "ruin your makeup". You really should just be wearing camo paint. That way you get to impress all your fellow friends while still putting gunk all over your face.

You are taking about those cheap rubbery mouthguards; however, a boxingguard will protect you from those kind if impacts in which the surface has a hard acrylic shell to absurb that energy...

I agree. Just use a full or half-face mask and you'll be good.
