Onimaru Masks?
Does anyone have any experience with these masks? (http://www.onimarushop.com/)
I cant really find to much about them, but the few reviews out there say they are good. Im not to worried about check welds, as I have a high profile magnifier with a holo sight. |

Get 2 toilet paper tubes. Put them over your eyes and try to walk through some brush. Can you say tunnel vision?
The best current fix appears to be a set of approved goggles matched up with a metal mesh half mask. You can top that with a helmet if you need more and use an earmuff style radio for more coverage (or a mesh mask with ear coverage. Good vision, no fogging, reasonable cheek weld, able to speak normally and able to shed some of the protection while keeping the eye protection in place if you want to eat or drink in action.

you could try it, and you will soon see that these masks do not provide you with adequate ventilation of air and most likely fog up those lenses used in that mask.
another problem is that game organizers may not allow it for use at their fields. If you look at game rules/details, most require paintball approved goggles at paintball fields. Some organizers/fields allow fully sealed goggles that exceeds ANSI Z87.1-2010 rating (ie: Revision, ESS, Wiley X.. etc..) I have a Rios Army of two mask and an immortals mask, they never get any field time because the ventilation and vision pales in comparison to wearing fully sealed goggles with a shemagh or mesh mask. On the other hand, they make nice wall hangers and for halloween parties...... thats it |

A custom face mask like that also would be an excellent mask for photo ops. looks cool and you can custom paint it. But as everyone says wouldn't be the most practical for games.
