Madbull noveske amplifier

Ive ordered a noveske sound hog flash hider but my inner barrel is sticking out of the end of my outer barrel by 2~3 cm as shown in the picture.

Will the flash hider fit? if so will the sound still amplify?

I think the length of the flashhider is searchable via product information.

If the inner barrel does not begin at the base of the flash hider, then the amplification effects will be reduced.

I wouldn't do it unless you had a way to recrown the barrel.

its only a 360mm barrel I guess I should probably just upgrade to a shorter tightbore
Im looking for a barrel around 340mm and under, guess my best bet is 300mm?
will 60mm affect accuracy and FPS drop by much?

no it won't

I cut barrels to my custom needs all the time and the variation in accuracy is minimal. Barrel material and manufacturing quality plays a mutch larger role than lenght. I usualy stick with systema and promotheus for high fps tightbores and with tanio koba twist bore for 330fps ish gun( witch is where I tend to keep all my guns these days... ). Just make sure that your cylinder is matched to your barrel lenght. You don't want to mutch or to little volume of air in there just the right amount... There is a chart out there that links cylinder porting to barrel lenght... I don't have it handy as it's on my laptop that had an unfortunate meeting with a 50bmg fmj after pissing me off one time to many...

That's looks a little longer than 2-3 cm. Closer to 2+ inches. Anyway, once you get the flash hider, you will notice the metal cone inside. Adjust it to maximum amplification and then note how far in your barrel extends. Ideally, you don't want the inner barrel to be beyond the start of the cone. Cut or buy an appropriate inner barrel. From experience with my WE PDW, when the barrel extends into the cone, it doesn't amplify much worth bothering with it.

I actually ended up buying a g36c silencer adapter to use as a mini outer barrel extension. **caveat - it doesn't look like it would work on your rifle. I test fitted a few adapters and that one fit and works.

exactly coach..it fits for looks (tried it), but not for sound. It hides the inner, but unfortunatley it is not really amplified because of what coach said and the inner barrel coming out too far inside the cones.

if installed with a proper distance from the metal cone, it will amplify some. don't expect it to be loud, rather it changes the tone.

the first time I used mine was at the Labour Day game up in Muskoka. It might not have been super loud but the sound got quite a few heads to pop up and look for what/where it was coming from. that was on a GBBR but the fire pig is currently on my RPK, while waiting for the Madbull KFH's to come in, and it also changes the sound of an AEG down range significantly.
